I have a thing for trash cans, I can't help it. The ones in Florida, during this trip, really fascinated me. This might not actually be St. Petersburg, but its somewhere around there, under an overpass, I think.

At one point, there was a rumor that one of our old neighbors had an ostrich. So of course, we immediately had to find out for ourselves. And sure enough, our neighbor was an ostrich! Such strange, intimidating birds and they only have two toes on each foot!
I had to stop and take some pictures when I found myself in Sun Village!
When we lived by closer to the ocean, we would sail occasionally. I took a film camera on one such trip and this is my favorite shot.
